Three Verification Methods

Veriff supports three verification approaches:

  • Share a Verification Link (manual, fast, no setup)

  • Use a Hosted Verification Page (no‑code, branded, ready in minutes)

  • Embed Veriff into Your App or Website (lightweight code snippet or full SDK)

Watch the video overview:

Below you’ll find detailed instructions for each method, including when to use it and how to set it up.

1. Share a Verification Link (Manual Verification)

Manual verification lets you generate a verification link directly from Veriff and send it to users through any communication channel. It’s fast, flexible, and ideal for one‑off checks or support‑driven workflows.

When to Use This Method

  • You need to verify a user quickly

  • You don’t want to set up an integration

  • Your support team handles identity checks manually

  • You’re running a pilot or testing Veriff internally

How to Share a Verification Link

  1. Log in to the Veriff Dashboard Open Veriff Station and sign in.

  2. Go to “Create Session” Select Manual Verification or Create Verification Link.

  3. Configure the session

    • Choose a verification template (e.g., ID + selfie)

    • Optionally add metadata (user ID, case number, etc.)

  4. Generate the link Click Create to generate a unique verification URL.

  5. Share the link Copy and send it via email, chat, SMS, or any preferred channel.

  6. Track progress Monitor session status in the dashboard (pending, completed, declined).

2. Use a Hosted Verification Page (No‑Code Setup)

Hosted verification lets you create a fully branded verification page — complete with your logo, colors, and verification requirements — without writing any code. It’s perfect for teams that want a polished experience without engineering work.

When to Use This Method

  • You want a professional, branded verification experience

  • You don’t have engineering resources available

  • You want to launch quickly

  • You’re embedding verification into onboarding or support flows

How to Set Up a Hosted Verification Page

  1. Log in to Veriff Station Access your dashboard.

  2. Navigate to “Hosted Page” Select Hosted Verification Page from the integration options.

  3. Customize your page

    • Upload your logo

    • Choose brand colors and language

    • Set verification requirements (document types, selfie check, etc.)

  4. Publish your page Veriff generates a branded URL (e.g., yourcompany.veriff.me).

  5. Share the link with users Add it to onboarding emails, support flows, or your website.

  6. Monitor sessions View verification outcomes in the dashboard.

3. Embed Veriff into Your App or Website (Code Snippet or SDK)

Embedding Veriff allows you to integrate the verification flow directly into your app or website. You can use a lightweight JavaScript snippet or a full SDK depending on your needs.

When to Use This Method

  • You want an in‑app verification experience

  • You need a scalable, automated workflow

  • You want more control and customization

  • You’re building a self‑serve onboarding flow

How to Embed Veriff with a Code Snippet

  1. Log in to Veriff Station Open your dashboard.

  2. Go to “Integration Options” Select Embed with Code Snippet.

  3. Configure your verification flow Choose your verification template and optional metadata.

  4. Copy the code snippet Veriff provides a lightweight JavaScript snippet.

  5. Paste into your app or website Insert the snippet where you want the verification flow to appear.

  6. Launch and test Confirm the flow loads correctly and performs as expected.

  7. Monitor sessions Track verification results in the dashboard.
